Responsibilities
- Supervise the efficient execution of production orders in accordance with approved formulations and manufacturing instructions, in compliance with safety and security regulations
- Participation in the manufacturing process
- Instructing and guiding production personnel in the correct and safe operation of machines and plant equipment
- Participation in decisions on manufacturing / process technology, work organization or their further development
- Organization of the raw material warehouse including SAP bookings
- Participation in the stock management of raw materials incl. permanent inventory
- Participation in planning and installation of capacities, qualitative and quantitative (equipment, resources, personnel), investment planning and rationalization
- Participation in personnel disposition in the manufacturing area (hiring and firing), as well as job design and performance evaluation
- Participation in safety briefings
- Participate in various OPEX (operational excellence) projects
- Personnel administration using Workday
Qualifications
- Work experience in the production area and in employee management.
- Completed training (e.g. process engineer, chemical technician)
- Ability to work in a team
- Flexibility, cooperation and ability to work under pressure
- Craftsmanship
- Basic IT knowledge (MS Office, SAP)
- Authorization to drive forklifts desirable
- Knowledge of English advantageous
- Very good knowledge of German
- English skills desirable
