Responsibilities

  • Supervise the efficient execution of production orders in accordance with approved formulations and manufacturing instructions, in compliance with safety and security regulations
  • Participation in the manufacturing process
  • Instructing and guiding production personnel in the correct and safe operation of machines and plant equipment
  • Participation in decisions on manufacturing / process technology, work organization or their further development
  • Organization of the raw material warehouse including SAP bookings
  • Participation in the stock management of raw materials incl. permanent inventory
  • Participation in planning and installation of capacities, qualitative and quantitative (equipment, resources, personnel), investment planning and rationalization
  • Participation in personnel disposition in the manufacturing area (hiring and firing), as well as job design and performance evaluation
  • Participation in safety briefings
  • Participate in various OPEX (operational excellence) projects
  • Personnel administration using Workday

Qualifications

  • Work experience in the production area and in employee management.
  • Completed training (e.g. process engineer, chemical technician)
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Flexibility, cooperation and ability to work under pressure
  • Craftsmanship
  • Basic IT knowledge (MS Office, SAP)
  • Authorization to drive forklifts desirable
  • Knowledge of English advantageous
  • Very good knowledge of German
  • English skills desirable
