What we are looking for:

Are you safety focused with a positive attitude and enjoy working as part of a team?
We are looking for someone who has the ability to provide operational and maintenance support to Council’s water and wastewater assets by providing machinery operation and labouring functions.
Whilst this position is located in Hervey Bay, you will be required to travel to jobs throughout the Fraser Coast region.

What you should have to apply:

  • White Card
  • Current bobcat and excavator licence and/or ability to obtain a VOC
  • Current Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B and Tetanus immunisation
(or willingness to undertake immunisations within one month of commencement)
  • MR Licence
  • Outstanding work ethic
  • Safety focus
  • Be willing and able to follow instructions, including complying with written procedures

What’s nice to have:

  • Basic computer skills
  • SWNELP
  • Traffic Implementation (Level 2)
  • High Risk Work Licence
  • Provide First Aid/CPR
