Job Description:
Sandy Beach Hotel and Resort is a prestigious beachfront property located in Al Aqah, Fujairah. We are currently seeking a reliable and dedicated Watchman to join our team. As a Watchman, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our guests, staff, and premises.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular patrols and inspections of the property to identify and prevent any unauthorized access, theft, or vandalism.
- Maintain a visible presence at key entry and exit points, assisting guests and employees as needed and providing directions and information.
- Monitor and control access to the property, including checking identification and verifying credentials of individuals entering the premises.
- Respond to alarms and emergency situations, taking appropriate action and notifying the necessary authorities and management.
- Report any incidents, accidents, or damages promptly and accurately, completing the necessary documentation as required.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure a safe and secure environment for all guests and employees.
- Assist in enforcing hotel policies and procedures, including parking regulations and noise control, to maintain a pleasant and comfortable atmosphere for guests.
- Provide assistance and support during evacuations, fire drills, or other emergency situations, following established protocols.
- Stay updated on security procedures and best practices to ensure a high level of preparedness and efficiency.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Watchman or in a similar security role is preferred.
- Good understanding of security operations and procedures.
- Excellent observational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical fitness and the ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work on rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
