Due to the continued growth of Lanna International School, we are seeking to appoint a full-time creative, inspirational, experienced, and dedicated Key Stage 2 teacher to join our Primary team for the 2023-3024 academic year.
Any successful applicant must actively support Lanna’s vision and mission supporting the academic, social, and emotional well-being of our students. He/she will develop supportive and positive relationships with all members of the Lanna community and demonstrate effective and innovative teaching strategies in line with the school’s beliefs around pedagogy. He/she must have the ability to collaborate with colleagues in the planning process to develop stimulating and rich learning engagements within our curriculum and understand and utilise formative assessment practices.
The successful applicant must be an outstanding teacher who is passionate about developing the whole child, be up to date with curriculum developments and new initiatives promoting teaching and learning and be unrelenting in their belief of the potential of children. Applicants must be a fluent English speaker.
The position requires a contribution to the school’s extra-curricular activities programmes and participation in continuous professional development activities to extend a candidate's current knowledge and practices. Furthermore, he/she must be willing to add capacity to the team through the sharing of ideas, practice, and expertise. Experience in the Cambridge Checkpoint programme/ International Primary Curriculum/National Curriculum of England and Wales is preferred but not essential.
