FRONT END BAGGER - UTILITY CLERK
Regular Part-time - $17.25-$17.75/HR
SHIFTS: All shifts (Complete Open Availability) - Must be available nights and weekends
Position Overview: Front End Utility Clerks provide the highest standards of customer service. The responsibilities are many and varied, and directed toward maintaining customer relations while completing job duties.
Essential Functions:
- Provide excellent and quality service to customers by giving them immediate and undivided attention
- Respond to customers’ questions, answer to best of abilities and follow through on all questions and requests
- Complete in-store training program
- Be aware of products and their location in the store
- Bag customer groceries efficiently, accurately and to the customer’s satisfaction
- Offer service and assist customers with their groceries out to their car
- Perform Go-Backs when needed
- Gather and round up shopping carts and handbaskets
- Maintain a calm, friendly and demeanor at all times
- Answer department telephone calls and with proper phone etiquette when time permits
- Face items throughout the store
- Assist and support other departments when needed
- Operate front end mobility scooter and plug it in for charging after use by a customer
- Keep the front end clean, sweep floors and sanitize front end equipment
- Keep Front end supplies and register area well-stocked
- Perform other duties as directed
