As part of the Excellerate program you are able to seize the initiative, operate with a consultative approach and collaborate on cross-technology solutions. The program will ensure you gain real practical insight into our business, our stakeholders and our customers including communication service providers (CSP) across the globe, and how we integrate end-to-end solutions to ensure everyone worldwide is connected.
Your journey within the Excellerate Program will start as Commercial Manager, part of the Commercial Management team at the Business Area Networks!
What you will do
At Business Area Network, Network Sales and Commercial Management (S&CM), our responsibilities are: Commercial Management, Sales and Commercial Strategies and Strategy Execution, and Commercial Analytics to enable fact-based decision making. This is an outstanding opportunity to join a Commercial Management team, working to develop the commercial strategy including price models, price levels and Terms & Conditions for Ericsson Networks Portfolio, take them to market by commercial expert team members, and investigate commercial performance and trends with the help of data analytics. This role is an exciting mix of frontline commercial execution and a long-term strategic approach.
You’ll gain a comprehensive view of the various dimensions of Ericsson operations, experiencing different functions and understanding exactly what it takes to be a globally oriented leader. From the beginning, you’ll thrive on early responsibility, embrace freedom and autonomy and encourage leadership to solve problems. Upon completion of the program, you will have the skills to lead virtual global teams, drive exciting projects forward and become a leader in implementing pioneering information communication technology! In addition, you will have the opportunity to:
Lead/Co-Drive one or more key initiatives, often covering Hardware, Software and Services price models, commercial strategies with the goal of enhancing the monetization of our products- Use your strong analytical thinking and experience with data analytics to explore commercial trends for a global product portfolio
- Analyse market trends and finding significant insights to develop
- Present insights, conclusions, and recommendations to Ericsson leaders to improve the business at a global scale
- Challenge status quo based on facts and logical reasoning, along with motivate change with new insights as a way for Ericsson to become more efficient
- Manage and report on key activities by engaging people in different parts of the organization, developing your own leadership skills as well as delivering results in time and with quality
- Balance multiple tasks in parallel, handling pressure and managing dynamic prioritization
You will bring
Your personal qualities are important for us, and we believe you are curious, innovative and collaborative. You have a motivation to work proactively, open, and dedicated with a keen interest to learn and to broaden experience and passion when bringing your ideas to the table.
In addition, we believe you have:
BSc or MSc in Industrial Engineering & Management, Information Technology, MBA degree or equivalent- Data analysis and visualization skills
- The ability to extract insights out of complex information and present them in a simplified way
- Solid presentation skills in English language, with ability to smoothly adapt to the respective audience to convey your message
- Comfortable working in MS PowerPoint and MS Excel
- An appetite to work in a fast-paced commercial environment
