The Designer will support the Lead Designer and design team in all aspects of the design process, from initial concept development to final installation. He/she must have a degree in Interior Design or related field, a strong portfolio of design work, and a passion for creating innovative and functional spaces.
Communicating directly with managers, project managers, marketing personnel, and clients to discuss and organise projects from original conceptual design through construction.
Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the design team to develop and present design concepts, plans, and layouts
- Create detailed design drawings, specifications, and schedules
- Research and source materials, furniture, and accessories
- Assist with client presentations and meetings
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and quality of work
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, materials, and technology to ensure design solutions are innovative and effective
- Assist with project management tasks such as budget tracking, scheduling, and coordination with contractors and vendors
- Provide administrative support to the design team as needed
Skills and Competency Requirement
- Proficient use of Sketchup for 3D conceptual 3D Modelling and material application
- Must have 1-4 years experience in the field
- Use of Autodesk Revit OR Autocad in developing detailed interior construction drawings package.
- Use of Vray or Enscape to develop interior renderings is an added advantage
- Comprehensive Use of G-suite for optimum collaboration
Educational Requirement
- A Minimum of Bachelors degree in Architecture is Required
