We are looking for a passionate and hardworking Information Technology Help Desk Officer to join our team at Singleton Council. In this role, you’ll make a real impact on the everyday lives of people within our community by achieving important outcomes for Singleton to grow and flourish.

THE ROLE

The Information Technology Help Desk Officer is a key member of the Information Technology Team. With a wide variety of job responsibilities, this position is responsible for providing first level support for all computer hardware, servers, telecommunication equipment and associated application systems throughout the organisation. This role is also responsible for management of Council’s mobile device fleet.

With an emphasis on customer service, you will develop a culture of performance and effective service delivery.


ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

  • Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology

  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware

  • Strong knowledge of mobile and tablet technologies

  • Knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and applications

  • Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills

  • High level customer service skills

This position is offered on a Permanent full-time basis working 35 hours per week.

Remuneration for this position is based on 10 of the salary system which equates to a base salary between $72,088.12 - $81,089.84
per annum plus superannuation.
