You will provide second level of application support to DHL Freight business unit in order to ensure the maximum availability and minimal disruption to business continuity.
YOUR WORK:
Deliver application support within Service Level Agreements to freight business users according to ITS processes with the main focus on Incident and Problem Management- Demonstrate ownership of assigned events and incidents through to restoration and collaborate with other support teams within the organization and external suppliers
- Coordinate activities and communicate with impacted stakeholders as per incident management process
- Maintain the knowledge of supported applications
- Support delivery of projects throughout their lifecycle
- Seek to continuously improve efficiency within supported applications
- Participate in 24/7 on-call support (paid extra)
YOU SHOULD HAVE:
Previous experience in application support- Experience with support of Transport Management System (TMS) or worked at logistics companies as a consultant
- Masters an application from business point of view and wishes to learn an new application in quite detail to be able to reproduction scenarios by users.
- Strong analytical thinking, very good communication skills in English, capability to cope with complex business processes
- Hands-on experience with LINUX operating systems and any common scripting languages e.g. BASH
- Knowledge on SQL, Oracle PL/SQL.
- Good time-management, organizational, multi-task and prioritization skills
NICE TO HAVE:
Knowledge of Java SE and Service Now- Experience in debugging, automated testing
- Knowledge of financial accounting, logistics
- ITIL Foundation V3 certificated
