As an Agile Coach you will join the newly established department Agile Centre of Excellence which is part of Vestas Digital Solutions. You will be part of a team of Agile Coaches whose mission it is to establish and implement an Agile Centre of Excellence in Vestas by evangelizing core Agile principles and methodologies in the organization.
Responsibilities
Overall, your responsibilities will include:
- Build and coach multiple agile teams of varying maturity
- Look for ways to strengthen team's understanding of Agile, e.g., Scrum concepts and principles
- Teach, mentor and improve Agile practices across the organization
- Coach and train the organisation on Agile concepts and principles as well as empowering them in building, growing, and sustaining a thriving Agile team
- Drive consistent practices across the organization based on the designed operating model
- Bring transparency to the organization about development and grow trust
- Act as the health monitor of the collective team, checking that our commitments, pace and quality are on track
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you most likely hold a degree in Communication, Business Administration, or IT. Also, you have some years of experience working as an Agile coach in a fast-moving tech environment.
Furthermore, we expect that you have/are:
- Solid knowledge of Agile principles and the flexibility to adapt your experience to new and evolving environments
- Experience with large scale software delivery and/or Agile transformation at scale in large enterprise organisations
- Passion for driving teams towards high performance and a deep pride in quality craftsmanship that delights users
- Experience leading (and ideally transforming) design organizations within IT or "tech-first" organizations
- Participated in larger transitions including change management
- Planning and securing delivery of many parallel activities at the agreed quality and in due time
- Strong communication skills with ability to communicate complex messages and teach new concepts
