We are looking for a talented Data Analyst with 3+ years of professional experience to join our project from Sweden.

Requirements

Must have

• 3+ years of relevant experience
• Experience in data visualization tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI)
• Experience in data modeling
• Knowledge of Python, SQL
• Working with public cloud (AWS, Google, Azure)
• Upper-Intermediate level of English

Will be a plus

• Ads business
• General knowledge of what’s booked, impressions, CPM etc.
• Experience in Apache Spark and Airflow

Responsibilities

You would be responsible for data visualization in our BI tool - we use Looker. The key here is to understand what the data represent and how it’s produced. You should be very curious about our business model and how it maps to the data we use and create. Having the knowledge of ad business would help a lot but it’s not necessary.
You will very often use SQL or Python to dig deeper in the data to do some analysis or to find the root cause of some anomalies.
Our team builds and maintains data pipelines that consume data from every tech team, we work on AWS, use Snowflake as backend storage for Looker. It also would be great for us if you had some knowledge and experience in building Airflow pipelines. We would expect the candidate to work very independently.

Our client is the world’s largest independent podcast company. Founded in 2014, the client pioneered the open podcast ecosystem, making podcasts available on any listening platform. They provide a marketplace to help podcasters find the right audience to monetize their content. Today, the product hosts 92,000 podcasts, with more than 430 million listens every month

Project team

The team currently has three engineers, an engineering manager, and a product manager. The manager is based in France and the others are also placed remotely in other countries so it's a very remote team.
