Jantrah Tech is hiring for WordPress Developer.
Responsibilities:
- Develop custom WordPress themes from scratch or modify existing themes based on client requirements.
- Collaborate with designers to convert PSD files or mockups into WordPress themes.
- Customize and extend existing WordPress themes and plugins to meet project needs.
- Optimize themes for performance and implement best practices for responsive design.
- Integrate third-party APIs, plugins, and libraries into WordPress themes.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues related to WordPress themes and plugins.
- Conduct thorough testing to ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of WordPress core updates and best practices in theme development.
- Stay informed about the latest trends and advancements in WordPress theme development.
Requirements:
- Solid experience in WordPress theme development using PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery.
- Proficient understanding of WordPress architecture, template hierarchy, and best practices.
- Strong knowledge of responsive web design principles and mobile-first development.
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks like Bootstrap.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work within deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to effectively interact with team members and clients.
- Familiarity with popular WordPress plugins and frameworks like Advanced
- Custom Fields (ACF) and WooCommerce.
