One of our clients, an Investment Administration Company, has a contract position available for a Senior Test Manager for approximately 9 months. The position will be mostly remote.
The Test Manager will be responsible for the delivery for all test types and phases for the software deployment.
This is a key leadership role that partners with various stakeholders, including technology teams, process value streams, and IT Tech Services. In addition to successful test execution, the role is responsible for coordinating test readiness, test reporting, risk, and issue management, and deploying testing approaches and strategies.
Test types include but are not limited to unit testing, integration testing, system integration testing, user acceptance testing, project regression testing, automation testing.
Responsibilities:
- Refine and align testing strategy with the project.
- Manage all test preparation including building the team, tracking all test readiness and entry criteria.
- Drive test planning including resources, timelines, ways of working, capacity planning.
- Develop test documentation standards, tools, templates.
- Execute all test and defect reporting.
- Manage preparation of test cases, scenarios, and data.
- Manage requirements traceability to user stories, and business process hierarchy.
- Manage translation of requirements, including functional and non-functional into test requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Manage the defect management process.
- Manage testing risks and issues.
- Develop key test deliverables including strategy, plan, summary reports.
- Identify and implement opportunities to make testing higher quality, more efficient, and more automated.
- Ensure quality of testing during unit test, integration, system integration, and user acceptance.
- Coordinate all testing teams.
Qualifications:
- 5+ Years experience as aTest analyst/Sr. Test analyst, Test manager.
- Relevant degree or diploma in IT/Computer Science.
Skills:
- Test lead/manager experience should span across implementation lifecycle including effort planning, test strategy, test preparation, execution, Reporting and closure of projects.
- Strong knowledge of and experience in management of different testing types of System, Integration, Performance, UAT and ORT, security, controls.
- Expertise in test tools for test management, and working knowledge of test automation tools
- Strong understanding in release management process to coordinate with release management and Development teams
- Should have experience of working a complex landscape and integrations of applications.
