Job Description:

Overview

This role will be to support Oral Care Solutions Division’s business in Thailand in scientific affairs and educational activities. It will involve extensive travel (up to 80%) supporting all regions of Thailand. The candidate will be based in Thailand and report to the Area Scientific Affairs & Educational Leader, APAC.

Key Job Responsibilities:

Health Care Professional (HCP) Management

• Manage the HCP Lifecyle management in developing current and new HCPs to support 3M educational activities for Thailand
• Build good working relationship with HCPs
• Lead the planning and coordination of 3M Thailand educational activities (such as but not limited to lectures, workshops, clinical articles) with local, regional and international HCPs according to business direction
• Ensure compliance with company policies in interactions with HCPs

Scientific Affairs and Educational Activities

• Work with Area and Global Scientific Affairs teams in scientific content creation, clinical product information, special projects, product feedback and complaints
• Support local Sales and Marketing teams in business planning and execution in both dental and orthodontic portfolios
• Lead business education strategy via execution of 3M Lunch and Learns (LnLs), clinical lectures and hands-on workshops for dentists, orthodontists, university students and other peer-to-peer programs in conjunction with Application Engineering and HCBG Compliance
• Provide insights and advisory in competitor intelligence as subject matter expert in dental and orthodontic market
• Support Sales teams and channel partners in product training, customer troubleshooting, customer co-calls and customer relationship building

Customer Relationships

• Develop strategic educational activities and partnerships with private dental practitioners, dental associations, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Defence’s Dental Services and tertiary educational institutions
• Execute educational activities for customers in product awareness and clinical applications
• Foster sponsored research and collaborations with associations and tertiary educational institutions
• Support business teams in gathering evaluation data from customers via VOC
• Actively participate in standards committees, local guidelines, professional associations, and standards setting organizations

Job Requirements:

Must possess a degree in Dentistry (BDS/DDS/DDSc or equivalent) with at least 2 years of experience as a practicing dentist. Non-dental graduates with vast experience in marketing/sales in the dental commercial industry can be considered . The candidate must have strong communication, interpersonal, presentation and influencing skills with proficiency in Thai and English languages. Possesses a valid driving license and own transportation and willing to travel locally for work (up to 80%).
