Job Description

What is the opportunity?

Perform daily reconciliations activities of the Toronto Nostro accounts. Receives, investigates, and responds to all customer inquiries and complaints regarding transactions. With extensive knowledge of the job and policies/practices, performs a wide range of advanced administrative/operational assignments.

What will you do?

  • Become a Subject Matter Expert on the reconciliations team
  • Responds to client inquiries regarding wire transfers, bookings etc across capital market products and services.
  • Prioritizes own workload and initiatives and assist team members as required
  • Ensures IT incidents are reported in a timely manner and escalated as appropriately.

What you need to succeed?

Must Have

  • Ideal candidate must be fluent with Microsoft office suite of products and be technologically independent.

  • Strong organizational & decision-making skills

  • Diplomacy and tact to deal with all levels of internal and external clients

  • Strong ability to exercise a high degree of judgement and negotiation

  • Knowledge of banking/reconciliation/accounting procedures

Nice to Have

  • University degree or College Diploma or any equivalent combination of qualifications and/or work experience

  • Previous experience with an accounting or investigation role.
