Wat ga je doen
At this workshop small teams of mechanics in two shifts are responsible for the maintenance of the trams of Utrecht. How many trams are available? How much maintenance is planned for today? Are there any malfunctions that need attention right away? Together with the team you prioritize the work.
Outside of the workshop you are responsible for malfunctions that happen on the tracks. Sometimes you can fix these on the spot, but in other cases the trams needs to be driven back to the workshop. The trams need maintenance on all-aboard installations starting with the breaks and motors, but also the sensors, communication systems and cooling installations. The newer models are more electric, so it is easy to spot the problem by attaching them to a laptop. The older models are more mechanical and ask for a different approach.

The organization is big in the transportation industry. They design, manufacture and maintain various transportation systems. In The Netherlands they focus on trains, trams, subways as well as the infrastructure and the signalling systems.
Wanneer maak jij het verschil?
- Knowledge of mechatronics or electronics, preferably mbo 3 or 4;
- Open to development/training;
- Being able to work independently;
- Experience in the field of train/trams is not a must but preferable.
- Contract for one year (intention for a permanent contract);
- A challenging and responsible position with a salary between €2800 and €3500 gross per month excluding 14% shift allowance;
- 25 days of holiday plus 13 ADV days;

Wat je krijgt!
Salaris
Je mag rekenen op een uitstekend salaris. Inschaling tussen € 2800 en € 3500 bruto per maand. Dit is afhankelijk van de kennis en ervaring die je mee brengt. Ook krijg je 8,33% vakantiegeld en een woon- en werkverkeer regeling.
Vrije tijd
Naast een leuke baan is ook het ook belangrijk om voldoende tijd te hebben voor ontspanning. Daarom kun je bij deze functie rekenen op 25 vakantiedagen en 13 ADV dagen
Zekerheid
Je krijgt een contract met de intentie om deze om te zetten naar een vast dienstverband, bij goed functioneren.
