The Maintenance Technician reports to the Engineering Manager and has primary responsibility for implement and sustaining all onsite utilities maintenance work including that performed by contractors.
PRIMARY DUTIES
- Inspection and maintenance of utilities department including (HCAV, DCS, Steam boiler, Oil boiler, absorption chillers, electrical generator, thermal lines, water treatments units, Air compressor, Nitrogen system, Dehumidifier, Dust collector
- Maintain the utility support equipment which includes basic operation and maintenance of boilers, air compressors, chillers, water treatment and This includes executing daily, weekly, and monthly PMs and troubleshooting issues.
- Perform installation and troubleshooting of basic facility related electrical devices within the facility. Individual must be capable of changing out light fixtures and ballasts and have experience with maintaining roll-up, overhead, and man doors.
- Perform basic repair and troubleshooting of HVAC systems. Act as the point of contact with HVAC vendors if major repairs or new installation is required.
- Drive 5S in the area of utilities department.
- Monitor the facility and recommend repairs or maintenance for equipment and facility including roof, ceiling, and walls of the facility.
- Operate forklifts and high lifts and use scaffolding and ladders as needed.
- Perform all duties with necessary precaution within accepted safety practice.
Minimum Requirements
- From 5 to 7 years’ experience in a similar environment prefer multinational environment
- Industrial technical institute or technical Diploma degree
- Good verbal and written communication skills (English)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in a multinational company environment is advantageous
- Experience with PC skills in Windows environment required.
PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT
Complete if appropriate based on position.
- Maintenance Technician will be exposed to hydrocarbon chemicals,
- working with high temperature surface
