General Description
The Hospital Cleanliness Associate is primarily responsible for maintaining a sanitary hospital. The associate will perform daily cleaning duties to ensure proper disinfection is practiced. Basic maintenance may be needed amongst our several buildings.
job duties
- Maintaining stock off all cleaning supplies in the hospital (including paper towels, garbage bags, air fresheners)
- General cleaning of the building and keeping it maintained and orderly
- Deep cleaning all areas of the Hospital--Bathrooms, Lobbies, Exam Rooms, etc.
- Vacuuming, sweeping & mopping
- Changing the garbage; dusting
- Completing daily, weekly, and monthly task lists
- Cleaning surgery tables and trays; cleaning and maintaining all sinks
- Laundry; kennel cleaning
- Maintain proper dilutions for cleaning solutions
- Knowledge of patient isolation protocols; and overall maintenance (both inside and outside the hospital) of the sights, smells and sounds of the hospital
Education Requirements/Physical Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Lift 40 lbs
- Standing for long periods of time
- Valid Social Security Card
- Possession of a valid California driver’s license or a valid identification card
- Basic math and writing skills

Pay: $15.50 - $17.00 per hour
