Position: Female Restaurant Hostess
Salary: QAR 2,500 up to QAR 4,000
Location: West Walk District, Al Aziziyah, Salwa Road
Reporting to: Restaurant Manager
We are seeking a highly professional and friendly Female Restaurant Hostess to join our team. As a hostess, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and memorable dining experience for our guests. Your warm personality, exceptional customer service skills, and ability to multitask will contribute to the overall success of our establishment.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests with a warm smile and positive attitude as they enter the restaurant.
- Escort guests to their tables and ensure they are seated comfortably, taking into consideration their preferences and any special requests.
- Manage the waiting list during peak hours, ensuring accurate seating and efficient table turnover.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area, including the hostess station, entrance, and waiting area.
- Provide guests with menus and assist with any initial questions they may have.
- Effectively communicate and coordinate with the waitstaff and kitchen team to ensure a smooth and timely flow of service.
- Monitor and anticipate dining room activity to optimize table availability and provide accurate wait time estimates to guests.
- Assist in answering phone calls and taking reservations, providing accurate information and exceptional phone etiquette.
- Uphold restaurant policies and procedures, including dress code, guest relations, and health and safety guidelines.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest concerns, striving to resolve any issues to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the management team to contribute ideas and suggestions for improving overall guest experience.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a restaurant hostess or in a customer service-oriented role is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact positively with guests and team members.
- Outstanding multitasking and organizational abilities, with the capability to handle high-pressure situations with grace and efficiency.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- A friendly and approachable demeanor, demonstrating a genuine desire to provide exceptional service.
- Professional appearance and adherence to the restaurant's grooming standards.
- Familiarity with reservation systems and basic computer skills.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Knowledge of food and beverage offerings and the ability to make recommendations to guests.
- A commitment to teamwork and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues to achieve common goals.
