Proclinical are recruiting a Commercial Finance BP (FP&A) for a medical technology and devices organisation. This role is on a permanent basis and is located in South Korea. The client is focused on developing and manufacturing contact lenses.
Responsibilities:
- Handle customer credit limit, margin improvement and vendor/customer master data.
- Manage and uphold critical financial data to meet routine reporting needs and ad-hoc analysis request of CVK/Region management.
- Communicate with the accounting team in monthly closing and assist with precise booking by offering analytical evaluation.
- You will collaborate with CVK FP&A team to offer assistance for business decisions to commercial shareholders as a tactical business partner.
- Propose P&L and balance sheet prediction/budget to the systems and reconcile those numbers to approved prediction/budget.
- Other duties may be assigned to this role.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Willing to travel for business needs.
- Knowledge in budgeting and predicting as well as of accounting and financial controls.
- Ability to manage business information/data and offering data-driven analysis displaying new perspectives to win the company.
- Computer literacy and any other analytic tools such as Tableau and COGNOS while requiring precision and speed for the analysis.
- Able to analyse actual vs. plan/prediction variances and summarise underlying drivers of variances and pertinence to operations.
- Project management abilities with a solid capacity to resolve issues.
- Fluency in the English language.
- Works well in team.
- Communication skills both verbally and in writing.
- A business driving attitude with a keenness to move forward.
- Solid ethics as a finance professional.
- At least 5 - 10 years of experience in accounting/planning functions.
- Familiarity working with foreign associated organisations who carry inventory of products.
- Acquaintance with producing, tracking and controlling financial, actual, predicts and metrics.
- Previous involvement in producing financial presentations for management.
- Familiarity with developing financial models which involves balance sheets and statements of cashflow, as well as income statements.
- Acquaintance with Oracle Essbase/ COGNOS / Business Intelligence would be beneficial.
- Educated to a degree level in a relevant field.
- USCPA/KICPA/CMA certifications or any data handling certifications would be ideal.
