Let's start with the role
The Commercial Contract Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and managing the entire lifecycle of commercial contracts. This includes keeping track of all new and existing agreements and ensuring that these agreements are properly processed and documented.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with other departments within the company, such as legal, procurement and finance, to ensure that all contracts are in line with the company's overall strategy and goals;
- Manage tight deadlines, based on priority status for each agreement, by following up regularly w/ relevant stakeholders;
- Keep track of all existing agreements and ensure that these agreements are properly documented;
- Prepare weekly/monthly reports on current projects status for the CCO review;
- Identify improvements and assist in driving implementation of new or changed processes and methods that can improve efficiency, accountability, and visibility;
- Train/coach other team members on commercial processes and best practice;
- Provide general assistance to the Commercial Department as required.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a similar position;
- Detail-oriented, with the ability to produce error-free work;
- Self-directed and can operate in high levels of ambiguity;
- Excellent presentation, writing, and communication skills;
- Ability to synthesize data, summarize the most important aspects, and create actionable insights for decision makers;
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications;
- Strong analytical, problem-solving & decision-making skills;
- Ability to align and work with global organization in different time zones;
- Excellent English, both in speaking and writing.
