Responsibilities:
- Project management for international automation and MES projects in various industries.
- Multi-discipline and interface, coordination during all phases of projects (concept design, basic design, software programming, FAT, SAT, commissioning, and optimization).
- Responsible for successful and efficient execution of projects in terms of quality, cost and schedule and direct reporting line to the department manager.
- Conduct customer visits and prepare technical proposals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronic / Control & Instrumentation.
- At least 10 years project experience in automation and MES projects within the process industry focusing on control system, hardware and software.
- Industry experience with chemical and / or pharmaceutical is preferred
- Familiar with at least one of the major DCS and PLC systems (Siemens, Emerson, ABB, Rockwell, etc.)
- Excellent technical understanding of DCS /PLC systems
- Mobility and willingness to travel to project sites (ca. 30 – 50% travel
- Good communication and persuasion capabilities
Bonus:
- Experience with CAE tools like INtools, AutoCAD, ePLAN, etc.
- MES know-how (OSI-PI, IP21, Siemens OPCenter, AspenTech, etc.)
- Familiar with field instrumentation
- Experience with installation will be a plus
