Process Control Engineer [Netherlands]


 

The position
Do you get excited about automation systems and are you ready for the next step in your career? Do you want to see your ideas become reality? As a Process Control Engineer you are responsible for specifying, developing, implementing and maintaining automation systems on our ships and equipment.
Our Process Control team falls under the Technology cluster within our Ship Management Department. You will be part of a team with 9 other specialists within Process Control. You will also work closely with our Production Automation team. This position is for our head office in Rotterdam.
Your responsibilities
  • You develop and/or specify, test and commission automation systems on board our ships;
  • You are involved in (new construction) projects in the field of process control from the start up to and including the expiry of the warranty period;
  • You assess the requirements set by users and you translate these into the right solutions, taking into account the workability in practice (feasibility);
  • You introduce new developments to the crew and provide technical support in solving problems;
  • You ensure optimal availability of the process control systems and applications on board our vessels
  • You participate in a standardization process for our automation systems.
Job requirements
You are a driven person who can function independently within your own field. You are open to input and you can collaborate well with other disciplines. Do you also meet the requirements below? Then apply by filling in the form below!
  • You have a minimum HBO working and thinking level (eg Industrial Automation, Electrical Engineering, MAROF);
  • You have at least 3 years of relevant work experience in the field of automation;
  • You master the English language, both orally and in writing;
