We currently have a fantastic opportunity to join the H&M AU team as a Payroll Coordinator. This role is a full-time role based at our Sydney Support Office.

As Payroll Coordinator you will be part of the Central HR Team supporting our Store and DC teams. You are passionate about providing high quality Payroll support, are solutions oriented and take initiative to ensure we are agile and personal in our approach. The stores are your customer!
Some of the key responsibilities of this role:
- Processing end-to-end payroll on Sage Micropay (weekly, fortnightly and off-cycle runs)
- Responding to and resolving queries and requests from our store team members
- Working closely to support HR team with coordination of information
- Maintaining the accuracy of the payroll employee Masterfile
- Working with our Enterprise Agreement and applicable Awards
- Weekly reconciliation of payroll transactions and balances
- Assistance in the maintenance of the award interpreter and payroll system by updating for changes to rates or mapping time and attendance codes
- Promoting common ways of working with the positive end user experience in mind, through building a continuous improvement culture
- Understanding of payroll policies and procedures (AU)
- Previous experience with major ERP systems (e.g., Sage Micropay, ADP, Chris21, SAP)
- Understanding of working with Awards, EAs, Pay rules, STP, Superannuation and Payroll Tax
- Able to work in a team and independently
- Self-motivated with a passion to drive the business forward
- A strong attention to detail with exceptional time management skills
- Problem solving ability, analytical and numeracy skills
- Clear and inspiring communication. You are able to gain buy in from a variety of stakeholders
- Ability to work to deadlines, manage high workload and successfully prioritize
- Ability to interpret and enforce changes in legislative compliance in order to ensure accuracy of Payroll
- 1 – 2 years’ experience within payroll in a medium to large organisation and/or HR and Payroll shared service organisation (will be highly regarded)
