What We Need & What You'll Do (Responsibilities):
Responsible for the installation, modification, testing and repair of data communications network equipment. Provides connectivity and network support to all networks, services, company, and customers. Performs analysis of software, hardware, and network systems for processors, multiplexes, LAN/WAN communications and various transmission systems. Proposes and implements hardware and software upgrades that will improve the performance and reliability of the system. Sets up user accounts on company’s servers and runs necessary system backups. Serves as the technical liaison with customers. Maintains records on repairs, downtime, changes, and updates.
Who You Are (Qualifications):
The Technician Level works on assignments that are routine in nature where limited judgement is required. Normally receives detailed instructions on work. Responds to situations where standard procedures have failed to isolate or fix problems in equipment. The Technician is usually assigned to specific portions of integrated data and communication issues. Provides input in support and maintenance of internal programs, processes, and tools and in product evaluation, testing, and research. Requires 1-2 years of related work experience, or associate degree, or technical training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. A+ certification required.
