Lettings Administrator - Remote [South Africa]


 

Responsibilities: (this list is not exhaustive)

  • Answer email enquiries
  • Book viewings for the agent
  • Confirm viewing appointments for the agent
  • Market properties on the relevant portals
  • Answer incoming calls and assist clients. Take down any messages (mainly lettings, general enquiries & sales calls.)
  • Send applications out to prospects after viewings
  • Process applications and ID documents
  • Discuss the prospect’s applications with the landlords
  • Reference the applicants (credit checks, right-to-rent checks, background checks, etc)
  • Schedule inventory and check-in dates
  • Prepare the move in folders (ID documents, move checklist, property certificates such as EPC, Gas & EICR, create tenancy agreement)
  • Make sure tenancy agreements have been signed and ensure payment has been received (first month’s rent and damage deposit)
  • Negotiate rental increases and decreases with landlords
  • Get new business in (book lettings valuations)
  • Ensure all landlord documents are on file (landlord ID, proof of address, terms of business, property management forms & proof of ownership)
  • Schedule legionnaire risk assessments for all properties and ensure all EPC, EICR & Gas certificates are in place.

Qualifications and Key Skills:

  • 3 – 5 years of relevant experience
  • PayProp and FixFlo experience advantageous

Hardware Requirements:

  • Own computer or laptop
  • ADSL/Fibre internet
  • Headphones for use with our VOIP system
  • Antivirus installed
  • UPS/Backup battery for load shedding

WORKING HOURS:

  • 09:00 - 18:00 UK Time
  • Job Types: Full Day, Permanent

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: R18,000.00 per month

Experience:

  • PayProp: 1 year (Preferred)
  • FixFlo: 1 year (Preferred)
