The Mission

Lead the VTBA Korea FSC team to deliver Atlas Copco Group, statutory and management reporting; Internal Control; and effective and efficient transaction processing. Maintain and develop a well-organised, highly motivated and skilled team with a service-led culture, managed effectively through the use of productivity measures with an emphasis on continuous process improvement. Work with the senior finance team in partnership with the business to deliver business performance. Be part of Global VTBA FSCs structure and drive efficiency through process standardisation and automation.


Main Responsibilities

1. Work with the Divisional finance team to deliver high quality monthly, quarterly and annual reporting to Atlas Group standards.

2. Be part of global VTBA FSCs structure, work on standardization of processes in order to achieve full alignment with The Atlas Copco The Way We do Things.

3. Develop monthly reporting and analysis to support decision making by business partners in the respective region and Business Units globally.

4. Maintain and develop a well-organised, highly motivated and skilled team of accountants and finance staff with a service-led culture, managed effectively through the use of productivity measures with an emphasis on continuous process improvement

5. Develop and implement strategies to improve timeliness and accuracy of reporting and transactional efficiency through partnership and agreements with GMs, Business Controllers, BPI and IM Heads


6. Build a partnership of trust and open communication between Bundang FSC, the entities, Divisional finance functions and Brno / China / India FSC.

7. Meet and exceed agreed service levels as measured by KPI’s and SLA/OLA’s

8. Support the annual audit processes for respective companies

9. Work closely with the Finance Controller, Divisional Finance, Tax and Treasury, Legal, Internal Audit and the business to make sure that Internal Finance control standards are met and exceeded.

10. Work with the global FSC team to deliver best in class Financial Services to the business.

11. Clarify all FSC roles and responsibilities in order to maximize and reach optimal individual and organizational goals.
12. Provide coaching and mentoring to the team members to execute their duties effectively.
13. Maintain professional and technical knowledge of the organization through supporting professional qualifications and implementing effective training programs.
14. Follow other instructions given by Line Manager (Global FSC General Manager)


Education level : University graduate, Qualified Accountant (Ideally trained with one of big 4 Audit Firms)

Relevant previous experience : 6+ years’ experience in finance reporting and control, ideally 5 years in an FSC environment
Language skills : Korean and English- both oral and written to a professional level.
Other skills and knowledge:
  • External and internal reporting experience covering both technical reporting and commentary.
  • Technically proficient and able to communicate accounting complexities to business and finance users.
  • Capable of making a major contribution to the development of the Edwards China business.
  • Capable of infuencing and changing business behavior with respect to internal control and operations.
