The role of Digital Product is to support the growth in sales (upsell, cross sell, retention & new business development) through understanding customers' workflows and providing a comprehensive bespoke training and demonstrations to ensure that clients extract highest value from Wood Mackenzie's research. This role has the additional responsibility of leading the curation of our customer knowledge content.
Working within Sales and Marketing, the Digital Product Trainer is a key member of the Customer Organization and will need to work across Research, Products, and Consultancy to ensure a consistent customer message is delivered. The role is based in our Delhi office. And, to help you to build your network, develop your product knowledge and have fun working with your new colleagues, the expectation is that most of your working week is office based. It’s an exciting opportunity as you will engage with Wood Mackenzie’s customers across multiple industry segments and ensure our customers maximise the full potential of products. As you will be providing online training to our Global Clients, you will be required to work in shifts.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of the value our solutions provide in supporting customer workflows and the sectors in which they operate.
- Develop an in-depth comprehensive knowledge of the products and product roadmap
- Embed our products with customers by delivering workflow base training sessions to increase users, usage and support cross sell, upsell, retention and new business development.
- Lead the curation of our knowledge base articles and videos delivered via the Customer Support Platform.
- Answer level 2 inbound queries from customers within your product domain, ensuring a timely and comprehensive response.
- Work with Customer Success and Account Managers to maximise the commercial success of products, positioning and demonstrating solutions to customers, showing how these products can address their workflows.
- Work closely with the Product Owners to help shape the product development roadmap based on customer feedback, your experience and knowledge of customer workflows, and relevant competitor intelligence.
- Work with teams across the organisation including sales, marketing, to develop self-serve and training materials for products .
- Support communication of product enhancements across the organisation and our customer base.
- Show quantitative and qualitative measures of engagement and training effectiveness, both from a customer and commercial perspective.

- Can work with complex data sets and build an understanding of customer workflows and needs.
- Experience working with MS applications (Intermediate Excel skills are required for this role).
- Experienced in video production and learning management systems.
- Be able to develop relationships across customer organisations from end users to senior stakeholders.
- Have experience in collaborating with different internal teams to achieve commercial success.
- Be passionate about growing the business and have a genuine interest in developing and growing themselves.
- Have an intellectual curiosity and aptitude towards the growing fields of data and data analytics and how these tools help clients solve business critical issues.
- Have experience in a customer facing role within a b2b sales, data analytics or SaaS based solutions organisation.
- Have knowledge of Customer Success Platforms, Gainsight will be an advantage.
- Show effective organizational and planning skills with the ability to manage own workload effectively.
- Have presentation, public speaking, communication, and training skills.
- Be self-motivated.
- Knowledge of oil & gas, energy, or natural resources.
- Knowledge of Salesforce.com.
