Job Description
- Manage all aspects of the secretariat functions
- Prepare, review and disseminate high-quality documentation and other relevant information
- Ensure effective operation by providing governance through the management, coordination and provision of confidential, high-quality governance and client focused support
- Coordinate and, if required, prepare correspondence and enquiries relating to board, committee meetings and any other relevant matters with internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure timely distribution of documentation to appropriate parties adhering to the correct format and using relevant technology.
- Maintain the electronic filing systems in accordance with record keeping requirements.
- Foster a collaborative working relationship with the Executive Leaders, Executive Officer and Board and Committee members.
- Organise the preparations for meetings, workshops, teleconferences including all travel, accommodation, catering and venue arrangements if required.
- Manage board member's monthly expenses and ensure adherence to directive and procedures
The Successful Applicant
- Previous experience in a high level administration, secretarial or executive assistant position
- High attention to detail
- High level written and verbal communication skills
- Makes considered, ethical and courageous decisions based on insight into the broader context
- Ability to build and sustain relationships to enable the collaborative delivery of customer-focused outcomes
- Prior Government/board support will be highly regarded although not needed to be successful

- Contract until 31st Jan 2024 - with potential to extend
- A06 banding ($68.92-$73.59 per hour)
- Standard work week 36.25 hours per week
- Work from home flexibility available once initial training period is over
